Découpages

S ome ridiculously lovely images from vintage French albums de découpages, borrowed from Agence Eureka’s (insanely awesome) Flickr stream, which you should visit pronto. Just as soon as you check out these kernels of cool, that is:

French Friday: Ribambelles!

Nothing like the beauty of découpage to lead into a (much-deserved) long, holiday weekend. The following photos have been kindly borrowed from Agence Eureka’s Flickr set. These cutouts are so ridiculously cute, they kinda make me want to go home, put on my sweats, grab my scissors, sit under a blanket, and cut things up. In a non-violent manner, of course.

Enjoy!

Gypsy and Twink (or, Why I just passed out)

iusb_760x1005140694

I think I’ve already established my love for owls, both here and on my other blog. So, whenever I come across a unique interpretation of owlness, well… I pretty much become instantly obsessed. Gypsy and Twink sufficiently baited-and-hooked me. Granted, G&T’s stuff is pretty pricy but, thankfully, looking/stalking costs nothing! And they don’t just cater to owl lovers, either. They are equal animal employers.

Enjoy. But not to the point where G&T take out a restraining order on you, ‘kay?
