Letterpress New Year

wo recent letterpress posts over at Oh So Beautiful Paper made me swoon in a major way. So, just in case you missed them, I thought I’d revive them for you here.

The first was a post featuring this inexplicably beautiful letterpress mini-calendar from Wiley Valentine, which unfortunately sold out before I could nab one for myself:

Ridiculously gorgeous, right? The envelope ALONE has a significant Pavlovian effect on me.

And now check out these New Year’s Eve letterpress invites from Czar Press:

At the risk of placing you in a letterpress-induced coma, I offer you just a couple more images from Czar Press. Consider it my New Year’s gift to you:

OK, I can’t take anymore.

Happy Wednesday!

Wordshop Wednesday (on Tuesday): Jamaica Makes…

Have you guys all seen Jamaica? I’m not talking about the island, though I hear that’s lovely, too. No no, I’m talking about Ms. Jamaica of the wonderfully awesome blog Jamaica Makes (crafts when she should be making dinner)! She and her blog make me smile for all sorts of reasons. For instance, yesterday she posted the following:

If that thank-you card doesn’t qualify as “rad,” I don’t know what does. Actually, wait, yes I do: all the old-school paper and fabric goodies in Jamaica’s Etsy shop and on her blog qualify as majorly rad. Here, check them out (be prepared to swoon):

Wordshop Wednesday: Regional Assembly of Text

I’m starting to think that I need to move to Vancouver, B.C.. Seriously. If I hear of ONE MORE awesome design/stationery/type shop located in Vancouver, I’m going to pack up my belongings and head Northwest.

Here’s why: The Regional Assembly of Text, built and created by Rebecca Dolen & Brandy Fedoruk, who also designed every freakin’ awesome thing in the shop. Unbelievable.

I want it all.

But I especially want these little treasures (all photos from Regional Assembly of Text’s online store):
