Koko – Match Co. pillows

I scored an awesome embroidered pillow on serious clearance at Anthropologie earlier this evening. Highly proud of myself, I came home ready to find a picture to share with you of my brilliant find. But then I found these. And now I kind of can’t stop thinking about them. But I still love my Anthropologie pillow. I will take a picture of it tomorrow.

Until then, please enjoy these ridiculously cool (and, thus, quite pricey) rice bag and matchbox pillows from Koko – Match Co., which instantly made me think of Agence Eureka’s Flickr set:

Swedish sweetness

It’s finally snowing in Boston. It was 70 degrees here on Thursday. Very anti-Decemberish. So, I’m extremely excited to see the white fluff whisping around outside and even sticking on the ground. I’m about to go celebrate with a fresh mug of hot chocolate and mini-marshmallows. But first, I want to share some fun Swedish finds with you… they’ll keep you happy and warm this Saturday evening, whether yours is snowy or not. 🙂

Vintage Matchbox Labels

I have been repeatedly mesmerized by the vibrant images that have been flowing over at Agence Eureka. One of my frequent go-to sources for a variety of French ephemera, Agence Eureka has most recently been posting the most fabulous vintage matchbook covers, primarily from India. The color palette, the type, and the illustrations (frequently of animals and birds) are brilliant.

See what you think. Oh, and trust me, there are a lot more where these came from: check out Agence Eureka’s Inde Allumette Flickr set for many many more.
